The Connecticut Chapter is once again sponsoring the Sandra Biloon Memorial Scholarship and will be offering one $500 meritorious scholarship to either a current member or the child of a current member in 2012.

It’s never too early to start planning for future training programs and we welcome your ideas and participation. Please forward your suggestions to any Executive Board member and feel free to contact Ellen Mantel, Connecticut Chapter President if you wish to join a committee.

The Connecticut Chapter of IPMA-HR strives to enhance professional development, recognition and partnerships; provide quality, cost effective programs for continuing education on current HR issues; and develop opportunities for professional growth and networking.

IPMA-HR is an organization that represents the interests of over 7,500 human resource professionals at the Federal, State and Local levels of government. IPMA-HR members consist of ALL levels of public sector HR professionals. Our goal is to provide information and assistance to help HR professionals increase their job performance and overall agency function by providing cost effective products, services and educational opportunities.

Colleagues - On behalf of IPMA-HR CT Chapter, I wish to welcome you to another year of wonderful programs and events! I encourage each and every one of you to take the time to participate in these programs and invest in your own personal development for the upcoming year. Our goal is to provide our membership and colleagues working in public HR with, affordable and informative seminars, access to a variety of online resources and the opportunity to interact and network with other human resource professionals from a variety of state agencies and municipalities.
