Even the downpour outside, could not put a damper on the first IPMA-HR CT Chapter event of the year.

The room was full of folks ready to enjoy a catered buffet lunch, and get some important information on the latest in HR legal issues. Attorney Peggy Strange was a fabulous, knowledgeable speaker on current court cases affecting HR as we know it, and managed to keep her presentation light and fun despite the seriousness of the topic.  From civil unions to anti-harassment, many new laws and court cases have been enacted on both the federal and state level, and everyone walked away with handouts to refer back to when having doubts about issues back in the workplace.
